Jesus turned my life around a full 180!

Born in a Catholic family, I came to Christ only at the age of 26.
I grew up carrying deep pain and shame from past experiences I couldn’t share with anyone. As I entered my teenage years, I looked for security in all the wrong places. The relationship with my mother was so strained.

I chased happiness through unhealthy relationships, poor life choices, and habits that left me feeling empty. The weight of guilt and regret felt unbearable, and I struggled with my self-worth.

I tried everything—self-help books, Yoga, positive thinking, self-esteem, astrology, numerology, angel therapy, “the secret” power of attraction—but nothing gave me true peace. By my mid-20s, I was lost, exhausted, and at a breaking point.
While volunteering at Connecting NGO, a suicide prevention helpline in Pune, I met someone who spoke about God in a way I had never heard before. He talked about Him as if he actually knew Him. That conversation stirred something in me. Could God really love someone like me?

Later, a colleague at work showed me what real faith looks like—not just in words but through kindness, patience, and forgiveness. His quiet example made me curious about Jesus. I picked up a Bible and started reading. And that’s when everything clicked.
For the first time, I understood that I wasn’t alone. God had been pursuing me all along, and He was ready to take my shame and restore my heart. I surrendered my life to Jesus, was baptized in 2015 and everything changed.

The burdens I had carried for years no longer defined me. Through God’s grace, I walked away from destructive habits and stepped into a life filled with purpose and joy.

Since then, He has blessed me beyond what I could have imagined. I now am debt-free, have a beautiful family, a thriving business, and—most importantly—a personal relationship with God that sustains me every single day.

If you see any good in me, know that it’s Him, not me. My mission now is to raise my children to be women of God, to walk in faith, and to share His love with others. Because He loved me first, 1 John 4.
